Tony Bergen — Managing Director
Tony Bergen is a physicist and internationally recognised expert in photometry and radiometry, with over 25 years of experience in precision light measurement and calibration. As Managing Director, Tony brings deep technical knowledge and proven leadership to our team, backed by decades of involvement in metrology, lighting standards, and laboratory best practices.
From July 2025, Tony is President-Elect of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), and he will serve as CIE President from 2027 to 2031. He has led and contributed to numerous international standards in lighting and measurement. He has chaired multiple technical committees and authored or co-authored over 20 CIE publications. In recognition of his service, he received the prestigious CIE de Boer Gold Pin in 2023—an award honoring distinguished contributions to global illumination science and collaboration.
He is also the President of the Metrology Society of Australasia, a long-serving contributor to Standards Australia, and an active member of NATA’s Calibration Accreditation Advisory Committee.

Lambert Tissot — Sales Director
Lambert Tissot brings over a decade of experience in technical sales, with a strong focus on photometry and radiometry since 2012. As Sales Director at PhotoSpec Labs, he combines commercial insight with deep technical expertise, developed through hands-on calibration work in an accredited laboratory—specialising in luxmeters, UV meters, and luminance meters.
Since 2017, Lambert has also been closely involved in the manufacturing and development of advanced photometric instruments, including goniophotometers, integrating spheres, and other precision light measurement systems. He regularly represents PhotoSpec Labs at leading industry events, including those held by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE) and the Metrology Society of Australasia (MSA).
His name might be a coincidence, but in photometry, it feels right at home.
